It’s National Chocolate Day

Willie's Chocolate 70Every day is chocolate day in my house but today give chocolate your extra special attention. There really isn’t a more perfect food.

So make today the day you visit your local chocolatier. Today spend that little bit more for the decadent piece of high quality chocolate. Today be thankful that someone discovered cacao beans and figured out what to do with them to make the most velvety, dark, rich chocolate.

Oh sweetness! Happy National Chocolate Day! Nom, nom, nom.

I love your site! The recipes and tips have been great and the pics make me rush for my chocolate stash every time. Here’s a tip for you: when I have chocolate that is a little scarred (like the dark one in this pic), I give it a quick shot of hot air from my blow dryer and it goes back to its original lustre…mere seconds will do.

Hopefully you don’t have it on high heat or you will have instant melted chocolate! I’ll have to try that next time however chocolate doesn’t usually last around my place too long. LOL

Have you ever visit a chocolate factory? I have been dreaming about this since when I was little. My dreams came true when I visited the Genevieve Grandbois chocolate factory. I thought it would be nice to share it with you for National Chocolate day!

Yeah I agree that we should be thankful that someone discovered cacao bean to be the main ingredients in making chocolates because sometimes chocolates makes us happy and take away our depression.
